We here at the Groove have always been Stones Throw fanatics, and one of their latest signings, Mayer Hawthorne, is an absolute testament to that statement. For a 29-Year-Old white guy from Michigan, the man gets funky and soulful as can be. Legend was he sent the demo to Peanut Butter Wolf and PB didn’t believe it was him at first.
